Bineînțeles că mi l-am cumpărat de cum a apărut la Sephora, fiind atrasă de descriere…


Did you miss reading a review? Aren’t you curious what mascaras I’ve tried lately? That’s why I thought to write a review for the newest Too Faced mascara – Better than False Lashes, a product that promises to make your lashes look like false ones – long, black and voluminous…
Of course I had to buy this mascara after it was launched, I was attracted by the description.

Mi se pare un produs interesant , nu e ca acele rimeluri cu 2 capete : bază și mascara . E un produs 2 în 1 , aplicat în 3 pași. 
Îmi place ambalajul , mi se pare elegant , iar tubul rimelului e luxurios.
În interiorul cutiei găsim și instrucțiunile. 

I think it’s an interesting product, it’s not like the other mascaras half / half – base & mascara. It’s a 2in1 product, and it can be applied in 3 steps.
I like the packaging, I think it’s elegant and the mascara-tube is luxurious.
On the inside we find the instructions.

Better than False Lashes are 2 tuburi : rimelul și baza ,care e diferită față de celelalte. Are niște firișoare de nylon care seamănă cu vata de zahăr :)) dar nu sunt lipicioase. Odată aplicate și genele sunt ‘extinse’ .
Better than False Lashes has 2 tubes : the mascara and the base, which is different from the rest. It has some nylon fibers which look like cotton candy , but they aren’t sticky 🙂 Once applied, the lashes get extended.

Periuța e simplă, din peri normali , e deasă și normală ca mărime. Îmi place că rimelul e negru intens.
The brush is simple, has normal bristles, its size is normal . I like that the mascara has an intense black colour.

Pe genele mele se vede diferența , nu știu însă dacă are un efect uimitor și pe genele scurte. Dacă vă doriți gene mai lungi și mai dese, trebuie să folosiți timp de 30 de zile în fiecare seară ulei de ricin. 
I can see the difference on my lashes, but I don’t know if this mascara has an amazing effect on short lashes.
Așa cum vă spuneam mai sus, trebuie să urmăm 3 pași pentru a obține niște gene lungi și voluminoase. Primul pas e aplicarea rimelului 
As I was telling you before, we have to follow 3 steps to get long and full lashes. The first step is to apply the mascara
(în partea stângă – cum vă uitați la poză-  am aplicat un strat de mascara, la celălalt ochi sunt genele naturale 
on the left -as you’re looking at the picture – I applied one layer of mascara, on the other side are my natural lashes)
Pasul 2 constă în aplicarea fibrelor de nylon . În funcție de efectul dorit, putem aplica mai mult sau mai puțin. Și dacă ne dorim doar alungire , aplicăm doar pe vârfuri. 
Step 2 lies in applying the nylon fibres. Depending on what we want, we can apply less or more. And if we want just length , we apply on the ‘ends’ of the lashes.

 Pasul 3 – mai aplicăm o dată mascara și obținem gene dese și lungi .
Step 3 – we apply another layer of mascara and we get long and full lahes.

Deși e o procedură mai ‘complicată’  , nu încarcă genele și dacă avem grijă, nici nu le lipește – vedeți și diferența dintre ochi în ultimele poze.
Although is a ‘complicated’ process, the lashes don’t get clumsy if we are careful – you can see the difference between my eyes in the last pics.

Deși pare un rimel bun , nu e cel mai potrivit atunci când ne grăbim. Și, bineînțeles că are și un mare minus…. nu rezistă . După câteva ore se întâmplă ceva și se șterge cumva de pe gene și se mai văd fibrele de nylon pe vârfuri . Puteți vedea exact cum arată în pozele de mai jos și le puteți mări dând ‘click’ pe ele.

Even if it seems a good mascara, it’s not the best when we are in a hurry. And of course, it has a big minus point…it doesn’t last ! After a few hours something happens and it fades away . All you can see are the nylon fibres on the top. You can see what I’m talking about by clicking the pictures below. 

Nu aș mai achiziționa acest rimel …cam același efect îl obțin și cu Lash Plumping de la Yves Rocher  sau cu Double Extension de la L’Oreal . 
Și asta a fost ultima dată când m-am mai lăsat păcălită de descierea unui rimel… nu avem cum să obținem acel look de gene false cu ajutorul unui rimel. Vrem gene false, ne punem gene false ! 

I wouldn’t re-buy this mascara…I get the same result with Lash Plumping (Yves Rocher) or Double Extension (L’Oreal).
And this was the last time when I get fooled by a mascara’s description … we don’t get those false lashes look with a mascara. If we want false lashes, we put them on !
