Review BB Cream – Garnier

Mi-am dorit BB Cream de la Garnier încă din vara anului trecut când am văzut-o în revistele nemțești și am așteptat cu nerăbdare să apară și la noi. Tare mult m-am bucurat când am văzut-o pe rafturile de la noi și fără să mă gândesc prea mult dacă am nevoie sau nu, am luat-o. Și pentru că știu că multe dintre voi sunteți curioase să aflați cât mai multe păreri despre crema minune, am apărut și eu cu un review azi.
Dar mai întâi haideți să vedem ce e BB Cream, de unde e și ce face 🙂
I longed for Garnier’s BB Cream since I saw it in the german magazines and I waited impatiently for it to be found in Romania as well. I was vry happy when I saw it in stores and without having any second thoughts – if I needed it or not – I bought it. And I know that many of you are curious about this miracle-cream, that’s why I’m here today with a review 🙂
But first, let’s see what is BB Cream, where is it from and what it does.





BB Cream vine de la Blemish Balm / Blemish Base, iar formula acestei creme datează din 1950 când un doctor dermatolog din Germania a conceput crema pentru a trata și a proteja pielea după intervențiile chirurgicale sau cu laser-ul . Crema a intrat pe piața din Coreea de Sud și Japonia în 1980 și de atunci a fost numită “crema actrițelor coreene” .
Acum BB Cream este produsă de diferite firme de cosmetice, fiind o cremă calmantă, hidratantă, protectoare.
În 2011 au început să apară  BB Cream-urile și în Europa, prima companie fiind Garnier, urmată de Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder.
BB Cream-ul este un produs minune, all-in-one : bază de machiaj, cremă hidratantă, regenerantă, protecție solară, fond de ten – având o acoperire mică-medie.
BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm / Blemish Base and its formula was discovered in 1950, when a german dermatologist made this cream to regenerate and protect the skin after laser / surgical operations. The cream was introduced 1980 on the South Korean and Japan market and it’s named since then “the secret of Korean actresses” .
Nowadays BB Cream is produced by different cosmetic brands and is mainly known as a soothing, moisturizing, protecting cream. 
Starting with 2011, BB Creams were introduced in Europe as well, the first company who made it was Garnier, followed by Dior,Clinique and Estee Lauder. 
The BB Cream is a miracle-product, an all-in-one product : make-up base, hydrating, regenerating, protective cream, foundation – it has low-middle coverage.


Și acum am să vă spun părerea mea despre faimoasa BB Cream. Știu că au apărut multe review-uri despre crema de la Garnier și…aproape toate erau semi-negative. Totuși, am vrut să o încerc și eu și mi-am cumpărat această cremă, deși nu a fost prea lăudată.
Încep prin a vă spune că îmi place foarte mult și că mi-o voi recumpăra.  E o cremă interesantă, care le face pe toate și parcă îmi schimbă tenul 🙂
Crema de la Garnier e disponibilă în 2 nuanțe : deschis și mediu ; eu am ales deschis și mi se potrivește. A doua nuanță e pentru persoanele cu tenul bronzat / închis la culoare.

 And now let me tell you my opinion about the BB Cream. I wanted to try this cream myself and even though I read less-positive opinions, I decided to go for it. 
I like this crea and I will surely re-buy it. It’s an interesting cream that does everything and it seems like my skin is changed 🙂 
The Garnier cream is available in 2 shades : light and medium ; I chose light and it’s perfect for my skin. The second shade is for tanned / dark coloured persons.


Are o consistență ușoară și intră destul de repede în piele, lăsând tenul destul de ‘uleios’ , dar senzația dispare rapid. Are acoperire ușoară și, folosită înainte de fondul de ten dă senzația de ten perfect 🙂
Această cremă e recomandată și persoanelor cu ten acneic, având proprietăți de calmare și regenerare. E potrivită tuturor tipurilor de ten, dar la cât de “umedă” arată pe tenul meu după ce o aplic, nu mi se pare că s-ar împăca cu un ten gras.
It has a light texture and it gets absorbed into the skin really fast, leaving the skin “greasy” but not for long. It has a low coverage and applied before the foundation it makes the skin seem perfect 🙂 
This cream is recommended for acne-prone skin, being a soothing and regenerating cream. It’s good for all skin-types , but judging by the “wet” skin-effect after I apply it, I don’t think it would match with an oily skin.

BB Cream de la Garnier mi se pare că acoperă destul de bine, în primele zile în care am folosit-o și uitam să aplic fondul de ten … iar în zilele în care nu am chef de machiaj, folosesc doar crema asta și obțin ceea ce-mi doresc : un ten hidratat, proaspăt și uniformizat.
Are un miros floral subtil, dar nu mă deranjează acest lucru. E un miros plăcut.
Garnier’s BB Cream covers the blemishes pretty well, when I started using it I forgot sometimes to apply foundation…  and for the no-make-up days  I only use this cream to get what I need : a hydrated, fresh-looking, even skin.
It has a delicate floral smell, but I don’t mind, it’s a nice smell.

Așadar, ce face BB Cream :

  • uniformizează
  • ascunde imperfecțiunile (în cazul meu micile pete și porii măriți)
  • iluminează 
  • hidratează 
  • este bază de machiaj
  • regenerează tenul 
  • are proprietăți anti-ageing
  • protejează împotriva razelor UV și a factorilor nocivi (are factor de protecție 15)

Mi se pare o cremă foarte bună  și voi continua să o folosesc zilnic ♥

So…what does BB Cream do : 

  • evens skin tone
  • hides the blemishes (in my case the small dark spots and enlarged pores)
  • illuminates
  • hydrates
  • it’s a make-up base
  • regenerates the skin
  • has anti-ageing effect
  • protects against UV and noxious agents (SPF 15)

I think it is a very good cream and I will keep using it daily ♥

Probabil că v-am mai spus că din noiembrie nu mi-am mai cumpărat produse cosmetice, m-am abținut …până de ziua mea, în februarie:))  Adevărul e că nu am simțit “lipsa” cumpărăturilor de cosmetice, mereu vedeam ceva și mă convingeam că nu am nevoie , căutam argumente pro/contra și rezistam tentațiilor. Îmi dau seama că am destul de multe produse pe care le cumpăr așa într-un moment de entuziasm de care uit mai târziu. La rimeluri sunt campioană :)) La Sibiu mi-am lăsat vreo 10, la Cluj am luat alte 10 …mai “noi” . Pe cele din dulăpiorul de acasă nu le mai folosesc, dar îmi vine atât de greu să le arunc…..  Și acum, am găsit 2 rimeluri pe care le am de ceva timp și pe care nu le-am mai folosit… și mi-e atât de greu să le arunc, le țin lângă coșul de gunoi până prind curaj să le arunc …


I might have told you that I didn’t buy cosmetics since november last year 🙂 I’ve abstained myself until my b-day in february. 
Truth is I didnt’t miss make-up – shopping at all , I always saw something new and I was convincing myself that I don’t need it …and I resisted :)) I can see that I have many products I buy at a certain moment and then forget about them. I think I’m a champ when it comes to mascara :)) I left 10 back home, the “newest” 10 I took with me. I don’t use the ones that I left home but it seems so hard for me to throw them away..  Yesterday I found 2 old mascaras in my collection and I just can’t throw them at the garbage, I left them beside the recycle bin and I will throw them away when I can :))

Trecem peste partea asta “morală” și vă arăt ce mi-am cumpărat și am primit în ultimul timp .
Well….passing over this “moral”-stuff, I’m gonna show you what I bought and received in the last period.

Am profitat de oferta găsită pe Groupon -50% reducere la produsele Sabon și mi-am cumpărat scrubul și loțiunea de corp (și după cum vedeți, o și folosesc:)) ) cu Iasomie.

De Valentine’s Day a apărut la Douglas un sortiment nou de gel de duș I love… și nu i-am putut rezista.

După 2 ani de așteptare, am primit în sfârșit cardul Sephora și împreună cu acel card, am primit și un gel de duș cu ceai verde! Nu am fost niciodată curioasă să văd cum miroase, dar a devenit imediat gelul meu de duș preferat și mereu îmi prelungesc dușul, să simt mai mult aroma.
PS : luna aceasta este promoție de 30% reducere la achiziționarea a 3 produse de baie de la Sephora. O să profit și îmi voi achiziționa și scrubul, loțiunea de corp și săpunul de mâini 🙂
///After 2 years of waiting, I finally got my Sephora-card and I also received a shower gel with green tea! I was never curious about its smell, but now, that I got it and know how it smells, it became my favourite shower-gel and I always stay longer in the shower, just to smell it 🙂

Tot de la Sephora mi-am luat și demachiantul de ochi -pentru machiajul rezistent/ waterproof și îmi place foarte mult. Am ales varianta mini pentru a vedea dacă e eficient sau nu 🙂

Make-up Stuff :

 De ziua mea, mi-am comandat și restul paletelor Sleek care mă tentau de mult, cred că a mai rămas doar Me Myself and Eye și Au Naturel pentru a avea colecția completă :))
Mi-am comandat Sunset, Monaco și Original, iar Oh So Special am primit-o de la prietena mea Rox .
Într-o zi am văzut și paleta Caviar&Champagne de la NYX și dat fiind faptul că nu am nicio paletă cu nuanțe nude, am cumpărat-o 🙂 În aceeași zi am cumpărat și quad-ul de la Farmasi. Fardul trio de la beautyUK l-am primit săptămâna trecută de la Make-UpShop.

I got Sunset, Monaco and Original and I received Oh So Special from a friend.  One day I saw NYX’s Caviar&Champagne palette and because I didn’t have any nude-palettes, I bought this one:)  On the same day I bought another quad from Farmasi.  The trio from beautyUK I received last week from Make-UpShop.

Blush-urile de la Sleek mi se par cele mai bune din câte am încercat/avut până acum. Sunt atât de pigmentate, de fine și de rezistente! Flamingo l-am primit odată cu Oh So Special, de la prietena mea iar Rose Gold mi l-am luat împreună cu paletele Sleek. 
Flamingo e destul de intens, e un roz nebun care trebuie estompat bine dacă nu vreau să arăt ca un clown:))
Rose Gold e o nuanță atât de frumoasă……. este o piersică aurie, nici nu mai e nevoie de highlighter pentru că iluminează foarte frumos pomeții.
////I think that the Sleek-blushes are the best I’ve ever tried/had ! They are so soft, highly-pigmented and long-lasting ! I received Flamingo together with the Oh So Special palette, and Rose Gold I bought together with the other palettes.
Flamingo is pretty intense, it is a blazing pink which has to be well-blended if you don’t want to look like a clown:)
Rose Gold is such a pretty shade! … it is a golden peach, and you don’t even need more highlighter because this blush highlights the cheeks so nice!

Aveam nevoie de o pensulă pentru blending mai bună și …m-am ales cu 2 : una de la Revlon și cealaltă de la  Sephora.
Cea de la Sephora are perii mai lungi și e mai bombată, pe când cea de la Revlon are perii un pic mai scurți și e mai subțire.

The one from Sephora has longer bristles and it is more rounded, and the one from Revlon has shorter bristles and it is thinner.

Pentru curățarea pensulelor mi-am cumpărat soluția specială de la Sephora pe care am mai avut-o.

Deși nu aveam nevoie, mi-am cumpărat și niște tușuri de la beautyUK și unul de la Essence, pe care mi l-a cumpărat prietena mea Rox.

 Aplicatorul tușului negru de la beautyUK e atât de greu de folosit…eu nu pot să folosesc acest tuș fără să nu-mi stric machiajul …. Are aplicatorul destul de gros și tușul e destul de lichid.
Deși nu mi-a plăcut când am văzut aplicatorul tușului de la Essence (seamănă puțin cu cel de la beautyUK) când l-am folosit mi-a plăcut foarte mult și nu mi-a venit să cred cât de ușor mi-am conturat ochii.
Tușul mov de la beautyUK nu l-am folosit până acum, dar îmi place că e opac și nu e nevoie să îl aplic peste o bază neagră.
/// The applicator from the beautyUK black eyeliner is so hard to use… I just can’t use it without destroying my make-up. It is pretty thick and the eyeliner is so… liquid :)) 
Although I didn’t like Essence‘s eyeliner applicator (it looks a little bit like beautyUk’s one) when I tried it I liked it very much and I couldn’t believe how easy I got my eyes lined :))
I haven’t used the purple eyeliner from beautyUK but I like it because it is opaque and I don’t need to use a black-base for it:)

Chiar nu am putut rezista tentației reducerii de 50% la noua mascara de la Rimmel :)) Nu-mi pare deloc rău că l-am luat pentru că îmi place foarte mult.
Mascara 2000Calories de la Max Factor am primit-o și e foarte bună ! Nu știu de ce am ezitat să mi-o cumpăr până acum….

I received the 2000 Calories mascara from Max Factor and it is very very good. I don’t know why I didn’t buy it until now…

 Am primit împreună cu fardul trio de la beautyUK și un gloss – Lip Lust care a devenit preferatul meu și pe care-l folosesc aproape zilnic!
Gloss-ul de la Alverde m-a cucerit datorită culorii (care nu seamănă deloc în poză cu realitatea!).
Glossul de la Radiant mi se pare că are nuanța perfectă de nude și e atât de cremos și de rezistent.
Mi-am dorit un ruj roz pal (nu că nu aș mai avea …) și am descoperit rujul de la Farmasi (Deena îmi pare rău că te-am informat greșit și că te-ai ales cu o prostie:( )
Balsamul de buze I love….strawberries&milkshake miroase foarte foarte bine, e hidratant și oferă și o nuanță frumoasă de roz buzelor.

I bought the Alverde-gloss because I loved its colour (which doesn’t seem the same as in real in the pic).
I think that the Radiant-gloss has the perfect nude shade! Beside this, it is so creamy and long-lasting.
I wanted a pale pink lipstick and I discovered one from Farmasi.

Săptămâna trecută mi-am mai luat 2 oje de la Seventeen  – una are o nuanță foaaaaaarte interesantă. – e ceva între maro și vișiniu, cu sclipici roșu/auriu! Cealaltă e de fapt o ojă cu sclipici multicolor – și se schimbă în funcție de lumină din albastru în verde sau invers :)) 
Am rugat-o pe prietena mea să-mi ia acel top coat de la Essence și mi-a cumpărat și o ojă mov drăguță 🙂

Această cremă de mâini am descoperit-o la mama și pentru că mi-a plăcut foarte mult mi-am cumpărat-o și eu. E atât de hidratantă și are un miros plăcut.
