NOTD : Stay the Night

Am rămas datoare să vă arăt și nuanța Stay the Night Liquid Sand de la OPI 🙂 V-am promis că nu o să vă las baltă cât timp sunt în vacanță așa că azi vă prezint această ojă specială.

Nu știu dacă v-am mai zis, dar Liquid Sand rezistă câteva zile bune (5+) și se îndepărtează foarte ușor de pe unghii.
Stay the Night este o nuanță de negru cu sclipici roșu și efectul este foarte frumos.

I don’t remember if I told you, but the Liquid Sand nail polishes last for long and they can be easily removed with a normal nail polish remover.
Stay the Night is black with some red glitter and the effect…well, it is fabulous.

Pe sticluță scrie să nu aplici top-coat, dar am văzut pe alte bloguri cum arată cu top-coat peste și mi-a plăcut. Din păcate, realitatea e alta …cel puțin la mine. Arată destul de urât…
I saw on other blogs how this looks like with top-coat applied on and I wanted to try it too…but I didn’t like it at all … it looks bad ! The fabulous effect is gone…

Liquid Sand mi se pare soluția perfectă când ești pe fugă și vrei o manichiură deosebită într-un timp foarte scurt. Se aplică în 2 straturi și se usucă foarte repede!


I think that this is the perfect solution for a special & fast manicure. Liquid Sand can be applied easily and it dries fast.

NOTD : Get Your Number

Printre cadourile de ziua mea, se aflau și două oje OPI din colecția Mariah Carey – Liquid Sand. Astăzi vă prezint Get Your Number , nuanță de albastru cu sclipici.
Recunosc că nu am fost atrasă de la început de această colecție, nu mi-au plăcut nuanțele. Eram totuși curioasă să încerc, să văd cum arară și cum se simte textura. Am căutat swatch-uri pe net și încet încet, m-am răzgândit. Mi-a plăcut Stay the Night , pe care mi-am și cumpărat-o . Apoi am văzut Get your Number pe unghiile unei colege (team-leader) și mi-a plăcut foarte mult .
Arată altfel pe unghii decât în sticluță . De 2 zile, de când o am pe unghii , o tot admir 🙂

Și acum să vorbim și despre textură și cum se aplică :
când se aplică , e ca oja obișnuită, are textură normală. După câteva secunde, se usucă și se transformă – se matifiază. Este opacă din primul strat, dar pentru intensitate, mai aplicăm un strat.
Se usucă foarte repede. Nu se simte ca o ojă normală, mată ..  e ca ….nisipul , zgrunțuros.


Today I am going to present you a special nail polish : Get Your Number (Liquid Sand collection by OPI).  At first, I wasn’t attracted by these nail polishes , I didn’t like the colours. But I was curious, I wanted to try one, to see how it feels on the nails. I’ve searched for swatches and I liked Stay the Night, which I also bought, but you’ll see it in another post. Then , I saw Get Your Number on my team-leader’s nails and I loved how it looked like. 
It’s different than it looks like in the bottle. I can’t stop admiring my nails for 2 days now 🙂


But let me tell you how it feels like , because it’s not like the normal nail polishes. 
When you apply it,  it is just like a regular nail polish , but after a few seconds, when it’s starting to dry, it gets that matte effect. It’s opaque after 1 layer, but it looks better after 2 layers.
It dries fast, it doesn’t feel like a normal nail polish , it’s like…the sand, grained.
