În sfârşit am pus şi eu mâna pe faimosul, prea-lăudatul fond de ten de la Revlon – Colorstay. Pro Longwear de la MAC e pe terminate, Everlasting Foundation de la Clarins e mult prea deschis şi Fit Me de la Maybelline e prea lichid şi mai închis. De obicei le combinam între ele, dar am vrut să am şi un fond de ten care să mi se potrivească perfect. Întrebarea pe care mi-o puneam în timpul în care îmi căutam fondul de ten potrivit era dacă să îmi iau un fond de ten mai scump (Lancome, Guerlain, Makeup Forever, Chanel, Dior etc.), unul pe care l-am mai avut (Maybelline Affinitone 24h, Max Factor X-perience, Bourjois Healthy Mix, BeYu light reflecting foundation) sau unul “nou”? Nu aveam de gând să îmi iau Colorstay, din ce citisem mi se părea că încarcă tenul şi că se întinde greu. Şi totuşi, am ales nuanţa 150 Buff, Colorstay pentru ten mixt/gras. Aveam din nou emoţii în privinţa nuanţei (niciodată nu găsesc una potrivită pentru mine).
Din fericire, mi se potriveşte, chiar dacă la început e o nuanţă mai albicioasă, după ce întind fondul de ten bine nuanţa se adaptează tenului meu.

I finally got the famour Colorstay foundation, from Revlon. The one that everyone is talking about, the great foundation…I ran out of my MAC Pro Longwear foundation and I had to find a replacement. I still have the Everlasting foundation from Clarins, which is too light for my skin and Fit Me from Maybelline, which is too dark …I usually mix them to get the right shade, but I wanted the right shade in one bottle so I read some reviews about different foundations (I was thinking what to choose between a “high-end” foundation, something I had before or something “new”?). I didn’t think I will end up buying Colorstay, because I thought that it is too much for my face… And still, I bought the foundation for combination/oily skin in shade 150 Buff. I was nervous, I was wondering if the shade will match my skin-tone but fortunately I chose right:)

Am rămas plăcut impresionată de acest fond de ten, nu este aşa cum mi-l închipuiam, nu are o textură groasă, se întinde uşor, nu oferă aspectul de mască şi nu încarcă tenul. În plus, uniformizează nuanţa tenului şi rămâne pe faţă întreaga zi, indiferent de condiţii.

Singurul aspect care nu îmi place este faptul că nu are pompiţă! De fapt, urăsc că nu are pompiţă, mă chinui să scot produsul din sticluţă, uneori nu curge iar alteori curge prea mult. Trebuie să fiu destul de atentă. Nu o să înţeleg niciodată de ce Revlon a ales să facă acest fond de ten fără pompiţă…..

I am really impressed, this foundation is different from what I had in mind… it’t not “heavy”, it’s texture is light, you can blend it easily and it evens the skin-tone. Beside this, it stays on all day long, no matter what.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that it doesn’t have a pump. Actually, I hate this! I need to be careful when I apply it, sometimes it won’t come out and sometimes I get too much. I keep wondering why Revlon did this with the Colorstay….

Mă aşteptam să aibă acoperire mare, să se vadă ca o mască pe faţă, dar nu este aşa. Are acoperire medie (eu aplic un singur strat) şi rezistă, după cum spuneam şi mai sus, întreaga zi, fără să se imprime pe haine sau pe telefon.Totuşi, Everlasting Foundation de la Clarins are acoperire mult mai mare.

L-am testat şi în condiţii “extreme” – după sală (deşi ar trebui să mă demachiez înainte) încă mai e la locul lui .. chiar şi când circul cu rolele, fondul de ten rezistă .
Fiind un fond de ten pentru tenul mixt/gras, tenul rămâne mat întreaga zi.

I was expecting it to have much higher coverage, but it’s not the case. It looks natural, has medium coverage (I apply one layer) and it lasts all day long. It doesn’t transfer on my clothes or on my phone, I really hate that. Still, Everlasing Foundation from Clarins has higher coverage.

It still looks great on my face, even after the gym or after going out with my roller-skates.
